Calibre CA1400 Series Surface Mounted Door Closer
Complete Door Closer Package (Standard Arm)
- 5 lb. Opening Force to Size 6. Adjustable Spring power with fully adjustable Back-Check controlled by a separate regulating valve. ADA Opening Force Requirements Caution: Any manual door closer, installed and adjusted based on ADA or other reduced opening force requirements may not provide sufficient power to reliably close and latch the door.
- Complies with ANSI A156.4-2008 Grade 1 for Modern Types with Cover C02011, C02021, and C02041, and conforms with the Federal Accessibility Standards (ADA) and ANSI A117.1 (4, 13, 11).
- UL Listed for UL10C for positive pressure and UBC 7.2 (1997) BS476 and Fire Safety, and for use on “A” label fire doors.
- ADA (Handicapped) multi-sized closer with adjustable spring power for a range of sizes from 5 lbs. Opening Force to spring Size 6.
- Universally non-handed and Tri-Packed for Standard, Top Jamb, and Parallel Arm installations (Parallel Arm Bracket included).
- Retrofits existing LCN 1460/1461 Series and similar type door closer installations.
- Dual Speed Control Valves: Closing and Latching speeds controlled by separate Regulating valves, fully adjustable after installation.
- Specially formulated stable high viscosity door check fluid for climatic operation in extremes of heat and cold, high flash point, and provides for constant unit lubrication.
- Optional T-Pin Cush (LCN type) hold-open forearm is available, ordered separately as an option.
- Pre-drilled steel mounting plates for most typical door mounting applications.
- Series 1400 furnished with a high impact, non-corrosive Slim Line PVC Dress Cover secured by machine screws.
- TAA Compliant and Meets Buy America Act criteria and requirements.
